Domestic Heating System Plumber

Sureserve Compliance South delivers heating services within the social housing sector across London & the South East. We support our clients across domestic gas, commercial gas, renewables, and electrical services. We are London’s largest, most successful gas contractor, focusing on long-term contracts with our clients to offer our staff job security and progression opportunities.

Role

• Risk assess work/working environments before starting any work to avoid damages or injuries, and undertake all work in accordance with Health & Safety and The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations (GSIUR) 1998.
• Identify materials and parts required to carry out repairs to the company standard. Record accurate logs of work undertaken and materials used, capturing this on the company’s PDA / I.T system.
• If further work is required, liaise with procurement & admin teams and inform residents of timescales for completion.
• Manage, control, and be responsible for allocated van stock, ensuring levels are maintained as necessary.
• Be prepared to work flexibly, including outside normal working hours, depending on business needs.
• Carry out daily tasks professionally, prioritising customer service.
• Report any vulnerabilities or concerns to management via our internal system for appropriate action and feedback.
• Keep your allocated company vehicle clean and tidy, wear the correct uniform, and dispose of waste in accordance with company/HSE regulations.

The successful candidate will have

• Level 2 plumbing qualification or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence (6 points or less).
• Experience within Social Housing is desirable but not essential.
• Experience delivering high levels of customer service.
• The ability to work with a diverse customer base.
