Our client is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join their team of experts. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for investigating and analysing geotechnical aspects of various projects, providing detailed reports, and offering technical advice to clients. There is also the opportunity to serve as an expert witness, although previous experience in this capacity is not required. Primary duties will include conducting site investigations, analysing soil and rock mechanics, and contributing to the resolution of engineering disputes. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field – MSc from ICL or similar preferred
- 3+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong foundation in soil mechanics and foundation design.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in forensic engineering or legal consulting is a plus, but not required.
