Industrial Door Engineer – Service & Maintenance

Due to our recent success and expansion plans we are now recruiting for a Field Service Engineer who has experience in Auto Doors to join a highly motivated and experienced team to cover industrial and automatic work.

• Servicing Roller Shutters Gates, Automatic and Industrial Doors
• Carrying out a dynamic risk assessment for every site visit to minimise all potential risks to self and others
• Diagnosing and quantifying repairs or upgrades
• Participate in the out of hours call out and standby rota
• To adhere to company quality standards at all times
• Meeting customer expectations on service delivery and professional standards

Experience and Skills required:

• Ideally 2 years’ experience in the Industrial and Automatic Door industry
• Good organisational and communication skills
• The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
• Relevant CSCS card (advantageous)
• Familiar with the use of a PDA
• Fault finding assets

It would be advantageous for an applicant to hold these qualifications:

• NVQ level 2
• CSCS Card
• IPAF
• Electrical qualifications
• DHF
• ADSA
• Familiarity of electrical control equipment within the door industry e.g. access controls, safety devices, single and three phase motor units

• Monday – Friday 8:30-5pm (normal working hours)
