Université Paris Dauphine – PSL, London campus seeks to recruit an Accounting Lecturer to teach various accounting modules for students on its interdisciplinary Bachelor’s in Economics and Management.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • To teach accounting modules at undergraduate level (circa 120 hours per semester).
  • To hold office hours as required.
  • To coordinate with the head of module at Dauphine Paris and the London-based Academic Lead and Undergraduate Programmes Director.
  • To participate in the development, administration and marking of exams and other assessments.
  • To contribute to raising standards of student attainment.

Person specification:

  • Excellent subject knowledge.
  • Research experience or equivalent professional experience, in a relevant area.
  • PhD in a relevant area.
  • Significant teaching experience of accounting modules at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.

Skills and aptitude:

  • Evidence of ability to teach and to supervise academic work in an international environment.
  • Very good spoken and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Good planning and organisation skills.
  • Ability to use a range of teaching methods in the classroom and promote a stimulating learning environment.
  • Creative skills and ideas for planning practical and interesting lessons.
  • Effective listening skills.

Salary: Depending on experience and education background, from £70-£110 per contact hour.
