Université Paris Dauphine – PSL, London campus seeks to recruit an Accounting Lecturer to teach various accounting modules for students on its interdisciplinary Bachelor’s in Economics and Management.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- To teach accounting modules at undergraduate level (circa 120 hours per semester).
- To hold office hours as required.
- To coordinate with the head of module at Dauphine Paris and the London-based Academic Lead and Undergraduate Programmes Director.
- To participate in the development, administration and marking of exams and other assessments.
- To contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
Person specification:
- Excellent subject knowledge.
- Research experience or equivalent professional experience, in a relevant area.
- PhD in a relevant area.
- Significant teaching experience of accounting modules at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.
Skills and aptitude:
- Evidence of ability to teach and to supervise academic work in an international environment.
- Very good spoken and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Good planning and organisation skills.
- Ability to use a range of teaching methods in the classroom and promote a stimulating learning environment.
- Creative skills and ideas for planning practical and interesting lessons.
- Effective listening skills.
