What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Financial Accountant within our Finance department. This position falls under our Corpay line of business and is based in London, UK.

In this role, you will be a key contributor in preparing financial statements, executing month-end processes, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. You will report directly to the Finance Manager and regularly collaborate with the Accounting, Audit, and Regulatory Compliance teams.

As a Financial Accountant, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

• Assigned workspace in our London office (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

Role Responsibilities

• Analyzing balance sheet variances and submitting month-end deliverables
• Reconciling high-volume intercompany balances
• Preparing financial statements for entities within the Corpay Group
• Supporting audits by compiling and submitting audit documentation
• Performing daily Client Money and Safeguarding calculations in accordance with local licensing requirements
• Preparing regulatory reports including IFR, CMAR, FSA029/30, FIN060a, and ANLA
• Identifying and driving process improvements and automation initiatives
• Providing support to team members, including vacation coverage and ad-hoc projects

Qualifications & Skills

• 3+ years of experience
• Must have experience in month-end financial processing
• Proficiency with Excel (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS) ; macros and Power BI are a plus
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting frameworks is preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• ACCA or ACA qualified or working toward qualification is mandatory
• Experience in audit and financial regulatory reporting is an advantage
• Technologically savvy and comfortable working with modern financial systems
