Patient Financial Rep II

Overview

BayCare is currently in search of our newest Team Member who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.

Position Details — Largo, FL with the potential to move to hybrid/remote following training. This Patient Financial Representative II opportunity is a full-time role requiring onsite work in Largo, FL with the potential to move hybrid after training. Team members must reside in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient accounting functions including billing, collections, customer service, and cash applications.
• Documents patient account activity, responds to customer billing inquiries, posts payments, and implements billing guideline changes.
• Identifies trends at a payer-specific level, applies federal and state guidelines to collection efforts, interprets and follows up on Explanation of Benefits (EOB).
• Inventories supplies, reports and tracks equipment maintenance, and performs other duties as assigned.
