Position Details — Largo, FL with the potential to move to hybrid/remote following training. This Patient Financial Representative II opportunity is a full-time role requiring onsite work in Largo, FL with the potential to move hybrid after training. Team members must reside in Florida.
Responsibilities
- Performs patient accounting functions including billing, collections, customer service, and cash applications.
- Documents patient account activity, responds to customer billing inquiries, posts payments, and implements billing guideline changes.
- Identifies trends at a payer-specific level, applies federal and state guidelines to collection efforts, interprets and follows up on Explanation of Benefits (EOB).
- Inventories supplies, reports and tracks equipment maintenance, and performs other duties as assigned.
