We are an established Legal Recruitment Agency who are looking to grow due to the continued success of the business. We are on the lookout for multiple enthusiastic individuals, so if you have never been in recruitment before, or if you have a few years under your belt and are looking to move to a dynamic and successful agency, read below.
If you have no recruitment experience, a legal degree would be preferred, but not essential, and any experience working in sales would be desirable. We mostly want to see a huge hunger for success and individuals with a willingness to learn, as we will expect you to pick up the intricacies of recruitment, but also the legal market.
If you are already a recruitment consultant, again, we ideally would like to hear from people from legal recruitment background, but if you have proven 360 experience and a desire to be part of the exciting world of legal recruitment, then please get in touch.
What we require:
- Individuals looking to progress with their recruitment career
- Either at least 12 months of recruitment experience, or none at all, and we will train you to reach our exceptionally high standards
- Team members who are motivated by success, money, personal development and career progression
- Excellent literacy skills with good attention to detail
- Very organised and efficient, with the ability to perform tasks autonomously
- A good team player as you will be part of a busy established team of consultants
- You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You will need to demonstrate that you have the confidence to work in a fast-paced and varied environment with changing priorities
What we will expect from you:
As a consultant you will be part of an established team, dedicated to providing the right talent solution for your clients, you will work as a trusted advisor, guiding both your candidates and clients through the end-to-end hiring experience resulting in finding the right person for the right job.
- Meeting clients and candidates to build and develop relationships
- Developing a good understanding of companies, the legal sector, what they do and their work culture and environment
- Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media
- Using candidate databases to match the right person to the clients vacancy
- Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client recruiting
- Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details
- Briefing candidates about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question
- Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants
- Organising, informing and preparing candidates for interviews
- Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidates
- Offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression
- Working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated
