Role Overview
As a member of the senior leadership team for Entertainments at Carnival UK, this role will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our entertainment offerings. This new role focuses on developing a forward-thinking entertainment strategy that aligns with the brand propositions of P&O Cruises and Cunard. You will identify opportunities across all guest touchpoints, ensuring our entertainment products meet and exceed guest expectations over the next decade and beyond.
Key accountabilities:
- Develop and implement an entertainment strategy that aligns with the P&O Cruises and Cunard brand strategies.
- Conduct in-depth research on global entertainment trends, guest behaviour, and emerging markets.
- Identify opportunities for growth, expansion, and innovation in entertainment products.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to create a clear vision for future ships, including new entertainment spaces and concepts.
- Develop high-level business cases for proposed entertainment innovations.
- Ensure alignment with brand objectives and sustainability goals.
- Lead strategic initiatives and drive continuous improvement in entertainment offerings.
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners, creatives, and industry trendsetters.
- Support the Director of Entertainment in achieving the vision of becoming the benchmark of luxury travel and Britain’s #1 holiday choice.
Job Requirements
This role demands a blend of strategic vision & technical expertise. We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive initiatives in a large, complex business.

- Experience in the leisure and entertainments sector, preferably within Cruise, Hotels, Resorts, Theme Parks, or Theatre.

- A background / good understanding of Entertainment such as Performing Arts, Entertainment Business Management, or Entertainment Strategic Project Management.
- Experience in a consulting capacity.
