Sr. Landscape Architect

The ideal candidate is a landscape architect/designer or architect with a minimum of 6 years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced and creative environment while also possessing the skills and qualities listed below:

1. Minimum 6 years professional experience, preferably in NYC
2. Excellent design and graphic skills
3. Passionate about design and horticulture
4. Demonstrated documentation and construction administration experience on complex projects
5. Demonstrated the ability to successfully work directly with clients and other consultants
6. Demonstrated the ability to successfully direct the work of junior staff and train entry level designers
7. Strong time management, critical thinking and organizational skills
8. Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
9. Exemplary skills in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Excel, SketchUp and the Adobe Creative Suite
10. Able to effectively lead, attend and participate in client and consultant meetings
11. Able to work with senior designers in a collaborative studio environment
12. Ability to take direction
13. Desire to work both in the studio and outdoors
14. Positive attitude, self-motivated, dependable, hard-working, honest (& fun!)
15. High standard of workmanship and presentation
