Adventure Travel depot in Cardiff Docks is looking for an experienced PCV Mechanical Engineer. We have a vacancy for our late shift (14:00 - 22:00). You may have seen our fleet of 250 vehicles, a mix of single and double-deck buses and coaches travelling across South Wales and beyond. Adventure Travel plays a vital role in the area. Every day, thousands of passengers rely on our service for work, important appointments, and leisure, making it imperative that we maintain our fleet to the highest standards.
We have a great dedicated team in Cardiff with plenty of experience as well as apprentices. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of buses and coaches. Your tasks will include:
- Servicing, repairing, and maintaining our vehicles at the depot.
- Diagnosing vehicle faults.
- Specifying the correct repair methods.
- Performing regular servicing on our entire fleet.
- Conducting routine vehicle examinations.
- Responding to on-road breakdowns.

Requirements:
- A minimum of Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent with some bus and coach experience.
- Alternatively, a minimum of two years experience working with buses and coaches.
