NET Recruit is supporting a technology business who are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team in the Bournemouth area.

Your Role:

  • Ensuring customer requirements are translated into software requirements where proposed solution architecture, operational needs and platform suitability for software testing are all covered.
  • Undertaking tasks on behalf of the company with third parties including requirement gathering, design reviews and integration activities.
  • Reviewing solutions to ensure they meet the functional requirements set out, including both customer and internal needs.
  • Providing technical advice and system level guidance for internal departments.
  • Maintaining the requirements baseline for each product.
  • Meeting the requirements for the company quality management system.
  • Ensuring knowledge of specialist technical topics is maintained and updated, meaning that any technical projects can be completed.
  • Leading the process improvement plan for the systems team.

You MUST Have:

  • Strong knowledge of engineering practices, methods, tools and processes particularly for requirements engineering and solution architecting.
  • Sound knowledge of systems engineering best practices.
  • An understanding of ATC operational protocols and procedures.
  • Experience using Windows operating systems.
  • Confident communication abilities, with experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience handling customer requirements on system components and experience in preparing detailed requirement specifications for software development and testing.
  • Knowledge of ATC/ATM environments.
  • Knowledge of requirements management tools.
