The Vacancy
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for managing a robust in-house resourcing model across the Group with a core focus on commerciality and a direct to market approach to drive efficiencies in terms of cost, time and process.
The individual will play an integral role in hiring a diverse candidate pool and promoting Brooks as an inclusive employer, alongside growing the Group\’s employer brand, increasing awareness of the firm as an employer of choice.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a best-in-class resourcing model to meet the needs of the Group now and in the future, constantly evolving the approach to react to and pre-empt changes in the business and external macro environment
- Partner with the business and HR Business Partners to manage the end-to-end recruitment process, promoting and championing a direct sourcing model whilst delivering multiple recruitment campaigns
- Manage recruitment processes from approval and role design, through to sourcing, interviewing and offer stage
- Advise and conduct compensation conversations with both hiring managers and candidates to ensure successful closure of offers
- Support People Leaders in interviewing and assessment, equipping them to undertake interviews competently and to a high quality
- Act as headhunter for the Group, proactively sourcing candidates via speculative approaches and in turn creating network/talent pools of high calibre talent to meet current and future needs
- Ensure the delivery of an exception recruitment experience to all candidates at each stage of their recruitment journey
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate and timely data
- Manage effective relationships with recruitment agencies and search firms, negotiating consistent terms and conditions, driving down costs, focussing the PSL on giving the best outcomes, and increasing agency performance
- Support with delivering innovative talent strategies to attract and retain a diverse work force in line with the Groups DEI strategy
- Support with management of the recruitment budget to cover all associated costs such as system costs, external assessment providers and agency spend
- Drive re-engineering and process improvements to ensure optimal productivity and best practice across the function
- Perform role always ensuring adherence to the expected behaviours stated in the FCA Conduct Rules
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Previous in-house recruitment experience managing the entire end-to-end process, ideally within Wealth or Asset Management
- Commercially minded with considerable experience executing a direct sourcing strategy, engaging with top talent to attract them to an organisation through promotion of employee value proposition
- Experience recruiting a variety of positions within an organisation, ideally with front office exposure
- Knowledge of best-in-class candidate attraction techniques to generate talent pipeline
- Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ideally Workday)
- Demonstrable client focus, with a drive to deliver the best possible service to stakeholders, as well as proactively seeking feedback to continually improve
- Experience using MI and analytics that give a clear narrative and creates a commercial case for the agreed recruitment approach
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory obligations in relation to recruitment within the financial services sector
- Understanding of the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR) preferred
