Grounds Maintenance Operative

I am working with a respected maintenance contractor who are Bristol based to to recruit a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join the maintenance team.
Duties will include:

• General grounds maintenance – mowing, strimming, pruning, planting, and weeding
• Jet washing of outdoor areas including patios, paths, and walkways
• Litter picking, fence repairs, and upkeep of signs, benches, and features
• Supporting the wider team with additional duties such as gutter, carpet, and window cleaning
• Responding to urgent repair requests and participating in the on-call rota
• Accurately recording completed works using IT systems

You will need:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
• PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates
• Full UK driving licence (company vehicle provided)
• Comfortable with IT systems for logging work
• Good communication skills and a professional, can-do attitude
• Willingness to undertake a DBS check
• Solid understanding of health & safety practices and maintenance standards
