Senior Account Managers are responsible for delivering great customer service, whilst consultatively selling into their existing client base and increasing their portfolio’s net growth.
What will I be doing?
- Manage circa 100 accounts within the SMB sector
- Deliver amazing customer service; responsively and passionately
- Demonstrate consultative sales techniques, objection handling and conflict resolution
- Hit performance related KPIs and sales targets
- Upsell and cross sell relevant products to your client base
- Maintain regular communication structures within your client base, including service reviews, commercial reviews, some of which will also include stakeholders within ANS (Heads of, Directors)
- Proactively renew contracts
- Ensure solutions and products we are selling to clients are fit for purpose
- Be a point of escalation for clients where needed
- Reduce client churn by ensuring clients feel valued
- Become a strategic partner advising clients on products which will improve their business efficiency and reduce risk
- Build and develop key relationships with influencers and decision makers
What will I bring to the role?
- Proven track record of managing medium/large sized businesses
- Strong commercial acumen
- In depth understanding of public cloud technology and taking clients on digital transformational journeys
- Strong consultative sales skills
- Ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders, at a high level
- Experience in creating and executing key account management plans
- Able to build trusted advisor relationships with clients, and using this platform to constructively challenge and disrupt a client's technology stack, to deliver results
- Strong face to face presentational skills
- A passion to develop and grow in the role
- Confidence to build relationships across multiple levels quickly and successfully
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise is critical
- A keen interest in technology is important
