Procurement Category Manager: Engineering & Technical Services

Competitive rate Inside IR35

Location: Nottingham or Birmingham – hybrid x2/3 days a week

Role Overview

  • You will be in charge of overall sourcing for particular tender strategies, which involves inviting and choosing suppliers as well as negotiating and carrying out supplier contracts.
  • Working closely with other teams and procurement division to manage key stakeholders domestically and internationally.
  • Manage contracts and claims as needed – actively manage suppliers to ensure competitive contracts and dependable supplies
  • Use tools including SAP, SAP Ariba, and Ivalua eSourcing.

Requirements

  • Procurement experience and expertise in engineering services, technical consulting, and professional services
  • Several years of energy industry and/or procurement experience
  • Knowledge of overseeing more significant contracts and/or procurement initiatives
  • Previous experience with SAP, SAP Ariba, and related systems.
