Procurement Category Manager: Engineering & Technical Services
Competitive rate Inside IR35
Location: Nottingham or Birmingham – hybrid x2/3 days a week
Role Overview
- You will be in charge of overall sourcing for particular tender strategies, which involves inviting and choosing suppliers as well as negotiating and carrying out supplier contracts.
- Working closely with other teams and procurement division to manage key stakeholders domestically and internationally.
- Manage contracts and claims as needed – actively manage suppliers to ensure competitive contracts and dependable supplies
- Use tools including SAP, SAP Ariba, and Ivalua eSourcing.
Requirements
- Procurement experience and expertise in engineering services, technical consulting, and professional services
- Several years of energy industry and/or procurement experience
- Knowledge of overseeing more significant contracts and/or procurement initiatives
- Previous experience with SAP, SAP Ariba, and related systems.
