Fire and Security Systems Engineer
Location: London and Home Counties (and sometimes beyond - we like a little adventure)
Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are on the hunt for a Fire and Security Systems Engineer to join our growing team of lifesavers - the unsung heroes behind fire alarms, CCTV and all things security.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Installing, servicing and maintaining fire alarm (both conventional and addressable), CCTV (IP and analogue), intruder and access control systems
- Diagnosing faults with the finesse of a forensic detective
- Keeping our clientsβ premises safer than Fort Knox
- Staying on top of health and safety standards (we do not mess around)
- Delivering service reports with the precision of a Swiss watch
- Occasionally donning your cape for emergency call-outs (on-call rota)
- Being the friendly face clients love to see and trust with their security
You Bring the Skills, We Bring the Tools:
Must-Haves:
- Experience in the fire and security industry
- Strong knowledge of fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder systems
- Familiarity with British Standards like BS5839 and BS7671
- UK driving licence
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Right to work in the UK and DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Industry qualifications such as FIA Units, City and Guilds, ECS or CSCS
- Knowledge of manufacturers like Eaton, Texecom, Hikvision, Kentec, Paxton
- Experience working to NSI or BAFE standards
