A newly created role has arisen in a financial services company for an Interim Tax Reporting Manager to assist the UK tax team that has oversight for tax across over 20 countries globally (outside the US). Although the role will focus on ensuring tax accounting deadlines are adhered to, there is plenty of scope to get involved in projects around Pillar 2 readiness, M&A and transfer pricing.

The role will be for 6 months initially although is highly likely to be extended beyond this as other projects and transactions arise in the business. They operate a hybrid working model which means working from the office 3 days a week.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Managing the preparation of international tax provisions in compliance with local regulations and IFRS and UK GAAP accounting standards.
  • Assist with the quarterly and annual tax reporting processes for the company's international operations.
  • Working closely with the external advisors to ensure integrity of data.
