Start your legal career with real impact. We're looking for ambitious, detail-driven graduates to join our Serious Injury Team as Claims Assistants. Whether you've recently completed your degree or gained practical experience through a placement or internship, this role offers a genuine opportunity to start building a career in the legal sector. You'll be supporting experienced Fee Earners in managing complex personal injury claims, giving you exposure to serious injury cases and a clear pathway to progress within the firm.
What You'll Be Doing
- Work alongside senior legal professionals to help progress a caseload of serious injury claims.
- Prepare documents and correspondence through our case management system (ProClaim).
- Be the first point of contact for clients and external parties - answering calls and taking detailed messages.
- Keep case files updated and help maintain internal records to the highest standard.
- Assist with appointment scheduling, disbursement payments, and general client communications.
- Provide wider team support during busy periods, helping with administrative tasks and coordination.
- Contribute to a high-performing, target-driven environment where your work makes a visible impact.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A degree (ideally in Law or a related subject) or relevant placement experience within a legal, insurance, or customer-facing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach to tasks.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and digital systems.
- A proactive, client-focused attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced setting.
Desirable:
- Knowledge or awareness of personal injury or serious injury claims.
- Experience working with a case management system (e.g. ProClaim).
