We are working exclusively with a well-known University who are seeking to engage a Lean specialist to support their ongoing transformation efforts. The primary objectives of this engagement are twofold:

  • Capability Building: To embed Lean thinking within our teams by working alongside them, coaching in real time, and transferring practical knowledge and tools.
  • Process Improvement: To identify, assess, and improve key business processes with a focus on delivering greater value to our customers.

Key areas of focus will include:

  • Voice of the Customer (VoC): Capturing and analysing customer feedback to define Critical to Quality (CTQ) requirements that will guide process redesign.
  • Process Diagnostics: Conducting current state assessments, including value stream mapping (with support from our in-house specialist), to identify waste, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Technology Enablement: Exploring opportunities for automation and the integration of AI technologies (e.g., autonomous agents) to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Upskilling: Identifying and supporting the development of new capabilities required to operate in a more digital and AI-augmented environment (e.g., roles like 'AI Boss').
  • Performance Measurement: Establishing baseline metrics and building data books to track and sustain improvements over time.

We envision this specialist working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure active participation, knowledge transfer, and the development of internal Lean champions.
