The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

The role is Project Engineering Lead (PEL) for the Electronic Counter Measures (ECM) Core Delivery Team reporting to the Head of Engineering Projects. The PEL operates within an Integrated Product Team or one of the products within a Product Line and is responsible for the success of the engineering activities conducted.

The PEL is responsible for leading on a day-to-day basis on the Work Packages assigned by the Project Engineering Manager (PEM). The PEL is responsible for providing their team with clear expectations of the engineering outcomes, ensuring that they operate consistently within the Policies & Procedures and to foster the improvement goals defined by the Engineering Function.

The PEL works with the Project Engineering Manager or Project Manager (depending on the size of IPT) and ensures they are kept informed of the engineering status (progress, spend, risks, metrics) and supports the IPTL in internal and external engagements.

The PEL helps develop their Engineering Team by providing mentoring, coaching, setting objectives, and appraising them of their performance through the PDM process and regular engagements.
