Job Description
Support the Head of Expenses with the monthly Expense reporting and annual budgeting process. The main tasks are but not limited to:
– Assisting the head of expenses in collaborating with the business to generate the expense budget
– Collaboration with function heads to ensure both actual and budgeted spend are understood and agreed
– Production of accurate monthly expense reports for various functions to compare actuals vs plan including variance analysis and commentary
– Production of accurate quarterly and annual VAT return (with external assistance where required)
– Responsible for delivery of a timely and accurate monthly expense closes including oversight of outsourced providers
– Responsible for taking ownership of all B/S and P/L reconciliations, ensuring these have been completed and signed off, are accurate and up to date, and have all variances resolved
– Review of outsourced provider\’s work
– Process improvement and automation: Help identify process improvement and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency
– Ad-hoc work/projects as and when required
Role Requirements – Hybrid role with minimum 3 days in the London office

Qualifications
• Fully qualified accountant with 1+years PQE
Experience
Prior experience working in expense function advantageous
Advanced excel skills desirable
