ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a Product Manager with immediate effect for our client who continue to lead their market, based in the Boston area of Lincolnshire.
Our client is looking for a Technical Product Manager with a foundational understanding of electronic components and systems to drive the development of innovative, hardware and software integrated products. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product delivery and market adoption. This role is ideal for someone who can speak the language of both engineers and commercial stakeholders, helping to shape user-centric, technically sound product solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Translate business and customer needs into clear technical requirements and product specifications
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and operations teams to assess feasibility, plan delivery, and resolve technical issues
- Understand basic electronics principles, components (e.g., resistors, microcontrollers, sensors), and PCB structure
- Review high-level schematics and component selections to ensure alignment with product goals
- Lead product management, from concept through launch to post-release iteration
- Monitor product performance and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with QA and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Maintain thorough product documentation, including user requirements, technical summaries, and release notes
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and customer-facing departments to ensure alignment
- Support marketing and sales teams with product knowledge, training, and go-to-market content
- Provide product-specific training and technical support to sales and marketing teams
- Develop and maintain sales tools such as product guides, FAQs, specification docs, and competitive comparisons
- Participate in sales kick-off meetings and support product presentations or demos
- Collaborate with marketing on messaging and positioning that reflects both customer value and technical strengths
- Serve as the internal product expert, helping commercial teams respond effectively to customer inquiries and objections
- Gather market feedback from sales interactions and feed insights into product strategy and roadmap
- 5+ years in product management
- Working knowledge of basic electronics, PCB structure, and embedded product concepts
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in hardware product development
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator with the ability to simplify complex topics for different audiences
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
