My client, an Engineering company based in Worcester is looking to recruit a Project Engineer on an ongoing temp contract, initially between 6-12 months.
You will work collaboratively with the Engineering and Technical Teams to develop new products, solve manufacturing issues as well as ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are met.
The main requirements of the role include:
- Collaborate with colleagues on new product development and manufacturing processes
- Lead the development of components using the APQP processes and support NPI Projects
- Resolve any issues using root cause investigations and document as required
- Manage Technical ownership of development products
- Communicate all technical issues with relevant stakeholders
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following:
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer with strong APQP knowledge
- Experience with APQP in high-volume manufacturing environment
- Experience managing high-volume production programs
- Strong communication skills with an ability to manage technical issues as they arise
- Strong IT skills including MS Office and ERP systems
The pay rate for this role will be approx £23-£25 an hour based on 37.5 hours per week.
