Electro Mechanical Technician 3 - 2nd Shift - $10k Sign On Bonus

Standard Work Hours: 2nd shift M-Th 3pm-1am

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $41.41 to $44.20, commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 upon successful hiring
• Shift Differential: $3.25 an hour

Responsibilities:

• Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
• Must have knowledge of electrical power, steam, water, and gas distribution systems.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs.
• Perform the work of the lower-class identifications.
• May direct the work of others in the lower classifications.
• Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures.
• Install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
• Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.
• Lay out, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit.
• Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
• Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
• Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.

Qualifications:

• Two-year Associate degree and 5+ years work experience required.
• Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.

Our jobs require: Standing for long periods, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending. Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds. Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
