We are currently recruiting for an experienced Lathe Setter Operator to join our client's busy team on a permanent basis. Our client manufactures quality products in a variety of stainless, carbon & nickel alloys in the Telford area.
Skills Required:
- Previous experience operating manual lathes/machines is essential.
- The ability to monitor the running of machines, ensuring they are loaded/unloaded with minimal downtime.
- Capstan and manual lathe setting & operating.
- Working to tight tolerances ensuring quality standards are met using vernier & micrometer gauges.
- Able to read engineering machining drawings.
- This role may also involve performing other day-to-day duties as part of the team including grinding, thread rolling, and packing.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 07:30-16:00 (30 minute lunch break).
An immediate start is available for the successful candidate.
