MDE are searching for a Pallet Sorter & Repair Operative to work for a manufacturing company in Chippenham.

Location: Chippenham

Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-Perm

Shift Times: 08:00am-17:00pm, Monday – Friday

Salary: £12.21ph

Are you hands-on, reliable, and ready to learn new skills? We’re looking for a hardworking Pallet Sorter & Repair Operative to join our team!

About the Role:

As part of our warehouse operations team, your role will involve:

• Manually sorting pallets into stacks based on grade and condition.
• Identifying and setting aside damaged pallets for repair.
• Using tools such as a sabre saw, nail gun, and hammer to carry out pallet repairs.
• Ensuring all tools are used with care and respect, as they are high-powered equipment.

Training & Support:

Full training will be provided at the start of your shift to ensure safe and effective use of all tools and equipment.

Future Opportunities:

Looking to grow? There will be opportunities to get involved in building bespoke export crates and pallets as part of our expanding operations.

• Good attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
• A strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required
