Job Description: The key objective of this role would be to lead a highly complex transformation program for a financial services organisation that operates in multiple countries and has numerous geo-specific legacy applications. The target state will be a consolidated application, improvised business process, adoption of technology and best practices in finance and accounting. The ideal candidate must have experience in managing end-to-end delivery of transformation programs from initiation to handover to Business as Usual.
In addition, the program manager is multifaceted, requiring strong leadership, communication, and project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of SAP projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage HCM Transformation Roadmap involving SuccessFactors (All Modules), EC payroll, SAC.
- Execute the team plans and schedules, reporting issues and progress to the Steering Committee.
- Execute projects in Hybrid Agile Methodology.
- Refine and implement project-related standards, templates, and procedures. Ensure training of team staff on the use of tools, templates, procedures, and standards as part of the Deployment Effort.
- Lead cross-functional teams to understand current state, future state landscape, organizational master data, and business processes and requirements.
- Lead the development of functional specification activities and interface effectively with the Development teams to translate Functional Specification documentation into Technical Specifications and the development of technical designs.
- Work with local management to plan and schedule the participation of key stakeholders in testing activities. Provide leadership, guidance, and support during the management of the execution of testing activities monitoring progress.
- Work with the Training team to develop necessary training materials. Work with Training Factory to understand training content as part of Train the Trainer sessions. Plan and schedule the participation of key stakeholders in end-user training activities.
- Work with local management, Data Conversion team, and Training team to plan and schedule cutover and go-live activities, identifying the sequence of tasks, double entry, manual procedures, and load sequences involved.
- Manage and build relationships with product and downstream application owners to ensure that required attention is provided for the successful delivery of this project.
- Manage deployment-related cutover and go-live activities.
- Manage support post-go-live, leading the team to resolve post-go-live issues.
Minimum Requirements
- 20+ years of experience in SAP Consulting and delivery, preferably with HCM transformation.
- Managed 2-3 end-to-end implementations for a global organization.
- Worked as lead consultant in the transformation program.
- Experience in Agile Methodology, DevOps, Story Board.
- Conduct daily stand-up meetings.
- Experience in managing key stakeholders and engaging senior project sponsors/steering committee.
