The Senior Account Manager is responsible for promoting a portfolio of specialized products, primarily within the oncology space. This involves building strong relationships and trust in the products, both in-person and virtually, and achieving sales and performance targets as set by the management team.

Key Responsibilities and Functions:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement a multichannel strategy, engaging stakeholders across the healthcare system, including the NHS.
  2. Lead high-quality discussions with clinical customers and facilitate peer-to-peer advocacy while partnering with the medical and science teams.
  3. Develop and execute comprehensive business and key account management plans.
  4. Effectively promote the clinical benefits and value of the product portfolio to positively influence prescribing habits and meet financial objectives.
  5. Engage clinical customers through diverse platforms, including educational events, symposia, and peer-to-peer programs.
  6. Demonstrate expertise in the disease area, product knowledge, and patient care pathways, serving as a valuable resource for customers and internal teams.
  7. Create and implement customer-focused account plans that reflect customer needs, aligning with the overarching brand strategy and coordinating efforts with cross-functional teams.
  8. Take ownership of ensuring product accessibility by addressing local prescribing challenges and optimizing the treatment pathway.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Strong sales skills with previous experience in specialty pharmaceutical sales, ideally in orphan disease areas.
  2. Advanced account management capabilities with a demonstrated ability to innovate and provide solutions that add value for both the company and stakeholders.
  3. Adaptable and proficient in using multichannel approaches to reach customers.
  4. Experience working within cross-functional teams with strong project management skills.
  5. Knowledge of healthcare system structures, funding mechanisms, and treatment pathways, particularly within the NHS/HSE.

Education & Certifications:

  1. Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.
  2. ABPI certification (or equivalent).
  3. Valid driving license.
