Night Traffic Operator - 4on/4off

This is a permanent, full-time vacancy that will close in 20 days at 12:00 BST.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Dealing with multiple drivers
• Communicating with ports
• Booking delivery slots for port entry
• Using the TOPS transport system to schedule drivers\’ start and finish times
• Chasing drivers for ETAs and ensuring timeliness
• Rerouting jobs as needed
• Checking that all PODs match the correct jobs in the system
• Advising customers on delays and ETAs

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Transport Operator – Essential
• Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal
• Willing to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern
• Excellent UK geographical knowledge
• Ability to work independently
• Problem-solving skills
• Organized and flexible to meet business needs
