The goal and mission of the Senior Investment Manager is to support billups business initiatives and company objectives in Commercial and Investment operations to gain overall company growth. Support and lead billups UK delivery of pricing. Build and foster media owner and client relationships to expand the billups brand in the UK. In addition, support the Team Leads in delivering on our client’s KPIs. Challenge the norms, deliver amazing, and move the world. This person will be reporting into the Investment Director – UK.
The Senior Investment Account Manager's main role is to manage and oversee the purchasing of OOH campaigns from initial brief through to supporting on media audit, always maintaining a best-in-class standard. Work closely with the planning team to be involved in the client briefs from initial conception to implementation. The Investment Team is part of the planning process, and the approach is one of thorough internal collaboration. The Senior Investment Manager should have commercial deals front of mind and integrate proactive pitching into their day to day.
The Senior Investment Manager will be responsible for media audits across key accounts allocated by Head of Commercial & Investment - EMEA, including attending audit meetings, checking and sending data. Working closely with the Investment Director and Head of Commercial & Investment, the role will include day-to-day buying and working closely with the planning teams, to ensure our client buying briefs are met, and to ensure our commercial interests are maintained. Be involved in the development of junior members within the Investment team. You will also construct and implement buying strategies and policies on both an agency-wide and client-specific level. You will work closely with the Operations and Planning teams to monitor and change internal processes as the market and the way we buy changes.
Key external relationships are with all media owners (particularly at Account Manager and Senior Account Manager level), auditors (internal and external), and Barter companies.
Responsibilities
- Champion billups and be a voice in the UK to support in driving the business forward.
- Have a proactive outlook and share ideas and opportunities with the investment team.
- Have an interest in learning how to buy OOH in other markets within EMEA.
- Support the UK Investment approach to provide a best-in-class gold standard.
- Spot opportunities and synergies to support the billups network with learnings from approaches to different markets.
- Where accounts are assigned to be the investment lead ensure a deeper understanding of those clients, using investment strategies to ensure the client’s needs are met.
- Support the Investment team with the delivery of billups pricing and commitments to our client partners to collectively meet targets.
- Working with the Investment Director to support the team to control client and agency contract guarantee commitments such as pricing.
- Alongside the investment team and planning team, support with trading and negotiations across billups EMEA.
- Apply and support new pricing models between our clients, agencies and media owner partners.
- Understand the different commercial models in place with our media owner and client partners and how they’re implemented and controlled.
- Support investment and the business with media audits.
- Support investment and understand any barter business within trading negotiations.
- Build and maintain collaborative investment relationships across mid-level media owner partners, clients and agencies.
- Share skills and knowledge across the team.
- Help to train, mentor and develop junior team members as required.
- Support the team when required for post-campaign analysis.
