BI/Business Analyst

London Full-Time 36000 - 60000 £ / year (est.) No home office possible

In depth experience as a BI Business Analyst implementing large scale data warehouse and BI solutions.
Strong understanding of BI, data warehousing and data modelling concepts
Familiarity with the MS BI Stack for Data Warehouse, BI and MDM concepts and analysis techniques
Excellent T-SQL and Excel skills to manipulate data, write macro\’s etc
Experience using data quality, data cleansing and data mapping tech & strategies
Experience working in a workshop in collaborating manner to drive the technical approach and solutioning for new requirements and implementations
Proven track record as a BI Business Analyst within London Markets, General Insurance or other Financial Services environment with an eye to detail.
Stakeholder management and ability to talk and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties.
Anchor workshops with stakeholders to understand business needs.
Requirement\’s elicitation and ability to document requirements at a level understandable to both technical and non-technical audience.
Ability to communicate complex business problems and solutions with all levels of business – senior management (CXO), project managers, architects and developers.
Excellent communication skills and significant experience working in a customer facing environment.
Experience in agile and waterfall methodologies and working in an onshore-offshore model.
