The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 Β£ per year.
The primary objective of this role is to lead the divisional trading team, aiming to maximise NAM by strategically planning and executing commercial sales and stock activities in accordance with the brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Trade the Matalan website, driving conversion and revenue for specified division.
- Develop and drive trading, promotional and merchandising strategies, working with key stakeholders across performance marketing and trade planning, to achieve and exceed targets.
- Anticipate trading risks and opportunities through proactive recommendation and data-led decision making.
- Compile accurate daily, weekly and seasonal reports on trading and KPI performance as well as conduct in-depth analysis and influence change with forecast involvement.
- Develop and lead the execution of the divisional trading activities and calendar to deliver sales targets.
- Identify new onsite opportunities and proactively bring ideas and innovation to improve the customer experience and aid conversion.
- Work in partnership with buying and merchandising teams, providing relevant insights to help shape and grow product range.
- Provide input into the web development strategy to ensure the website meets commercial requirements effectively.
- Support the Head of Online Trading with coaching and development of direct reports.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar ecommerce role in a retail or consumer facing brand.
- Experience using Google Analytics, PowerBI and Content Square.
- An analytical and questioning mentality with excellent excel skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Proactive and positive approach to problem solving.
- A dynamic team player with great interpersonal skills.
