Responsibilities

The Nursing Assistant assists patients with healthcare needs, activities of daily living, and provides bedside care—including basic nursing procedures—all under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

Salary

The role pays between $20.66 and $21.28 hourly. This range is for transparency and does not include bonuses or additional compensation. Factors such as experience and location may influence the final salary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Completion of Nursing Assistant/Aide course with CNA certification preferred
• BLS certification and EKG training required before end of orientation
• Must attend hospital crisis training within 3 months of hire and annually

Physical Requirements

Position involves medium to light work, requiring lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting, and standing most of the time. Good communication skills are necessary.
