Job Description: Web Development Manager

Responsible for overseeing the web development strategy and projects within the association. Manage a team of web developers and designers, ensuring successful and timely project delivery. Involved in project planning, website design and development, technical expertise, and quality assurance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate project updates to stakeholders, and monitor website performance. This role reports to the Digital Delivery Manager.

You will:

1. Develop and implement the overall web development strategy for the organization.
2. Manage a team of web developers, designers, and other professionals involved in web projects.
3. Monitor and optimize web application performance, user experience, and conversion rates.
4. Manage digital infrastructure, including web servers, databases, cloud platforms, and networking components.
5. Assist in daily production and non-production issues, act as an escalation point, and manage expectations.
6. Contribute to training materials and instructions for end-users.
7. Ensure smooth operation of applications interacting with different systems and business processes.
8. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues, and recommend remediation or changes.
9. Proactively communicate with support partners and third-party vendors affected by network or data center infrastructure.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

You have:

1. Extensive experience in advanced software support and web development (Tier 2 or Tier 3).
2. Understanding of front-end and back-end web development principles and best practices.
3. Proficiency in responsive design, UX, and UI concepts, with the ability to provide input on website layouts, navigation, and user flow.
