Job Description: Web Development Manager
Responsible for overseeing the web development strategy and projects within the association. Manage a team of web developers and designers, ensuring successful and timely project delivery. Involved in project planning, website design and development, technical expertise, and quality assurance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate project updates to stakeholders, and monitor website performance. This role reports to the Digital Delivery Manager.
You will:
- Develop and implement the overall web development strategy for the organization.
- Manage a team of web developers, designers, and other professionals involved in web projects.
- Monitor and optimize web application performance, user experience, and conversion rates.
- Manage digital infrastructure, including web servers, databases, cloud platforms, and networking components.
- Assist in daily production and non-production issues, act as an escalation point, and manage expectations.
- Contribute to training materials and instructions for end-users.
- Ensure smooth operation of applications interacting with different systems and business processes.
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues, and recommend remediation or changes.
- Proactively communicate with support partners and third-party vendors affected by network or data center infrastructure.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
You have:
- Extensive experience in advanced software support and web development (Tier 2 or Tier 3).
- Understanding of front-end and back-end web development principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in responsive design, UX, and UI concepts, with the ability to provide input on website layouts, navigation, and user flow.
