Our client is a leading pre-nail, frame, and truss manufacturing company based in Christchurch, proudly supplying high-quality timber solutions to the residential and commercial construction sectors across New Zealand. With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for reliability and precision, we are growing and looking to add experienced and motivated individuals to our busy factory team.

We are seeking experienced Frame & Truss Builders / Hammer Hands to join our production team. This hands-on role involves the fabrication and assembly of timber frames and trusses using both manual and automated tools. You'll be working alongside a skilled team in a fast-paced factory environment where accuracy, safety, and teamwork are key.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and cutting lists
  • Accurately assemble timber frames and roof trusses
  • Use power tools, nail guns, saws, and other factory equipment safely
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Contribute to a safe and tidy work environment

  • Proven experience in a frame and truss manufacturing environment or as a hammer hand in the construction industry
  • Ability to read and interpret building plans
