FM Building Services Team Member – Vertas Group Limited
£12.71 per hour Plus OTE
Location: Riverside, Lowestoft
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Shift Work: 5.30am-1.30pm / 12.30pm-8.30pm (including evenings and weekends)
Must Have: A valid driving licence
Main Purpose of the Job:
To provide an efficient and effective building support service, ensuring security of buildings and equipment through the Service Level Agreement.

- FM Building Services Managers
- Facilities Management Vertas Managers and Staff
- All Vertas Building Services Team
- Internal & External Customers
- Contractors
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
- Building Support: Provide porterage and respond to helpdesk requests, ensuring jobs are signed off via the FACTS helpdesk system.
- Security Duties: Responsible for opening and locking buildings, checking for damage, and responding to alarm issues.
- Conference Support: Support meeting and conference room setups, including video conferencing equipment, and monitor parking spaces.
- Stock Control: Monitor equipment logs and maintain stocks of consumables.
- Minor Repairs & Maintenance: Carry out minor repairs following health and safety regulations.
Additional Information:
Shifts will rotate weekly. You will participate in a 24/7 standby and callout rota, requiring a 20-minute response time and living within 20 minutes of the site. SIA qualification is preferred but not mandatory, as training can be provided.
