Virgin Atlantic is seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven professional to lead the Technical Change Management function within its technology operations. The Technology Change Manager is responsible for owning, governing, and continuously improving the Change Management framework, aligned with ITIL v3 best practices. You will ensure that all internal technology teams and external partners adhere to the framework, enabling business agility while minimising service disruptions. The role also involves tracking, analysing, and reporting on change performance through dashboards and reports, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Some of your key responsibilities as a Technology Change Manager will be:
- Own and maintain the Change Management framework, policies, and procedures aligned to ITIL v3 best practices, while ensuring change control mechanisms are in place and followed across all technology teams and partners.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate change management practices into project planning and execution.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track change performance metrics, such as change success rate, failed changes, and unauthorized changes.
- Identify and report key trends, risks, and areas of improvement in the change process.
- Work closely with Service Transition teams to ensure smooth deployment of new services and changes into production.

- Hands-on experience managing change processes in line with ITIL v3 Change Management, with a strong understanding of ITIL v3 best practices and their application in an enterprise IT environment.
- Demonstrated ability to enforce compliance with ITIL-based frameworks across diverse technology teams.
- Proven ability to track, analyse, and present change performance data using dashboards and reports.
- Excellent facilitation skills, with the ability to chair CAB meetings and drive decision-making.
- Proven track record of identifying process improvement opportunities and driving initiatives for better efficiency.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and service delivery models to assess change impacts effectively.
