About You:

You\’ll be a results-driven sales professional with a passion for customer engagement and a track record of success in inside sales or business development. You will be highly organised, persistent in outbound prospecting, and motivated by achieving targets. Skilled in professional phone engagement, strategic outbound outreach, and capable of independently managing a sales pipeline, you should have a sense of urgency and a consultative approach, especially when responding to inbound inquiries from engineers, technical buyers, and procurement professionals. This role suits someone who thrives in a structured, high-activity sales environment and is motivated by clear goals and team success.

About the Role:

This pivotal role involves driving new business growth across the UK and EMEA, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, with a focus on end customers. You should be proactive, able to build rapport quickly, and focused on pipeline development. While technical support is available for complex needs, you will own your sales funnel, revenue targets, and forecasting. The position is office-based at our UK headquarters in Harrow.

Qualifications

What you\’ll have:

Essential

  • Extensive experience in inside sales, business development, or telesales
  • Proven success managing the full sales cycle
  • Strong outbound prospecting skills, comfortable with cold calling
  • Excellent communication skills with a persuasive, consultative style
  • Experience with CRMs like Salesforce
  • Highly organized with strong forecasting discipline
  • Ability to engage with technical buyers across industries

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of electronic test & measurement equipment, rentals, or industrial sectors
  • Understanding of B2B solution selling and technical buyer personas
  • Degree or higher education in a technical, business, or engineering discipline

What You\’ll Be Doing

  • Own and Deliver on Sales Targets: Achieve personal bookings and revenue quotas through outbound and inbound activities.
  • Full Sales Cycle Management: Qualify, develop, and close opportunities with minimal handover.
  • Outbound Sales Campaign Execution: Conduct structured outreach via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and re-engagement campaigns.
  • Lead Qualification & Conversion: Respond promptly to inbound inquiries, qualify leads, and manage them to close.
  • Pipeline Development & Forecasting: Maintain a strong pipeline and ensure CRM accuracy for reliable forecasting.
  • Customer Retention & Cross-Sell: Engage existing customers for transactional business and identify upsell opportunities.
