Join her team of PAs to provide her personal care and support her independence. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on a young adult's life.

Location: Swindon SN25
Shift Pattern: 10h day / Around 35h per week
Rate of Pay & Benefits:
- Rate of pay: £16 per hour
- Holidays: 5.6 weeks (pro rata)
- Bespoke training in the client’s particular requirements will be provided.
- On-call support from a client coordinator is also available.
About our Client:
Our client is a determined and independent individual, despite her physical disabilities and autism. She uses an electric wheelchair and has dynamic abilities, requiring varying levels of assistance based on her daily condition. She values routine, clear communication, and a calm environment. She is inspired by biomedical science and loves intellectual conversations. She will be studying Biomedical Science at Bath University from September. She is really excited about this opportunity.
Our client is looking for a supportive PA who can help with driving, physical tasks, and recognizing when she needs medical assistance, all while respecting her autonomy and love for learning.
As she describes: "I enjoy baking, drawing, playing with animals, listening to musicals (like Hamilton, ITH, Les Mis, Wicked, Matilda, Anastasia, Waitress, DEH, Six, Amelie, and more) and watching shows (like B99, The Good Place, and Modern Family). I am a quiet person who doesn’t like swearing or shouting and loves routine and rules. I love puns, cheesy jokes, songs, musicals, animals, biology, science — or just learning in general (because I go on tangents a lot!!)."
About the Job:

We are looking for a positive, like-minded PA to assist with day-to-day living and support her at home, helping her lead as independent a life as possible. Example duties include but are not limited to:

- Commuting
Care experience is not required as full training will be provided to meet our client’s specific needs.
You will need:
- Hold a clean automatic driving license, as you will be driving her adapted vehicle (essential)
- An understanding of neurodiversity and its impact
- Be physically fit, calm, patient, friendly, and caring
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- A mature and responsible attitude
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English
- To be neat and tidy in appearance and manner
