The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Responsible for ensuring end to end management of storage and related operations for the entire Hastings site. Functions covered include material receiving, storage, picking and inventory management as well as rework or disposal of non-compliant finished product and materials.
A key role in our site leadership team, responsible for providing leadership in the implementation of process improvement initiatives (such as the Kraft Heinz Management System) and promoting a performance-based culture that encourages continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence.
Primary Responsibilities:- Managing Frozen Distribution and ambient warehouses in compliance with site policies and objectives.
- Overseeing receiving, storage and material transfer operations.
- Aligning raw material and packaging storage with efficient space utilisation best practice.
- Supporting incoming and warehouse teams to meet daily objectives.
- Aligning with key stakeholders such as Warehouse & Materials Manager, MPI Auditors, Warehouse and Distribution Team, Factory Team, and local suppliers.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Hands on experience with WMS and databases.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A strong planner and organiser.
- Forklift license with F Endorsement.
