Job Responsibilities:
- Gather and document user requirements.
- Ability to understand the data provided and the information to be communicated.
- Perform detailed analysis of source systems and source system data and model that data in QlikView.
- Design, develop, and test QlikView scripts to import data from source systems and test QlikView dashboards to meet customer requirements.
- Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents when provided.
- Create and maintain technical design documentation.
- Design Analytics Visualizations and support design changes through an iterative development process.
- Perform quality coding to business requirements.
- Work directly with business units to define and prototype QlikView Applications.
- Transform and load data from multiple sources into QlikView applications.
- Provide input on proposing, evaluating, and selecting appropriate design alternatives which meet client requirements and are consistent with client’s current standards and processes.
- Strong knowledge on QlikView server architecture and building DVDs and VWs applying business rules and data validations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with little direction.
- Ability to derive technical requirements from business goals and processes.
- Experience in developing/architecting Analytics Solutions supporting multi-dimensional reporting.
- Experience in sourcing data from disparate systems with a good understanding of their Data Models and ETL procedures.
- Hands-on professional with thorough knowledge of scripting, data source integration, and advanced GUI development in QlikView.
- Full understanding of the processes of data quality, data cleansing, and data transformation.
- Ability to write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Experience in end-to-end implementation of Analytics projects, especially in scorecards, KPIs, reports & dashboards.
