Position: Occupational Therapist

Location: Exeter (Hybrid)

Role: Permanent, Part/Full time available

Salary: £35,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Our client is an award-winning, NHS-approved practice dedicated to providing high-quality psychological care across the UK. They offer neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for adults and children, as well as expert witness assessments for courts, parole boards, criminal and family law, immigration law, and medico-legal cases.

The Role: This is an exciting role within a busy service, providing assessments to adults. It is a hybrid role for qualified clinicians within the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team, focusing on autism and/or ADHD assessments. Some tasks may be performed remotely; candidates must be able to travel to Exeter. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments using established tools
  • Writing reports promptly and professionally
  • Providing recommendations and interventions
  • Supervision of junior staff may also be involved, depending on experience

Qualifications/Must Haves:

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
  • Experience in neurodevelopmental/specialist developmental assessments with adults
  • Knowledge of assessment tools for autism and ADHD
  • ADOS-2/ADI-R trained
