The Nursing Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to non-acutely ill patients. Responsibilities include maintaining patient care areas and equipment, and performing patient watches. Note: Phlebotomy and EKG skills are not required.

- BLS Certification through American Heart Association
- Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
- At least one year of experience as a Nursing Assistant

Essential Functions
- Respond promptly and courteously to call lights and assist patients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient care areas and equipment
- Assist with ambulation, weighing patients, applying supportive devices, and transporting to departments
- Contribute to patient satisfaction through regular rounding and service recovery
- Support colleagues and demonstrate self-care principles
