Right at Home is a local homecare provider, dedicated to delivering high-quality support to vulnerable adults within our community. We are urgently seeking an experienced and compassionate Live-In Carer to support one of our long-term Clients. We’ve had the privilege of helping this gentleman remain in the comfort of his own home, and he is now entering the final stage of life. We’re looking for someone warm, engaging, and dynamic to be a steady presence for both our Client and his family during this emotional time.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a background in end-of-life care, and the ability to navigate sensitive family dynamics, as the Client lives with his wife and is regularly visited by close family members. Please note – the family has a dog, so please do not apply if you have allergies to pet fur or are unhappy working in a household with pets.

What will you receive:

  • Premium daily pay of £130 plus £40 per week for food

Your duties will include:

  • Providing high-quality personal care and support to Clients
  • Administering medication as directed
  • Assisting with daily activities, including washing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Encouraging and supporting clients in maintaining independence
  • Performing light housekeeping duties
  • Offering companionship and emotional support
  • Accompanying Clients to appointments and on outings

What do you need:

  • Must have the Right to Work full-time in the UK.
  • You will need to have experience as a Live-in Carer
  • You must be able to commit to work on a Live-in basis. We are open to shift patterns, but you must be able to commit to at least 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off
  • You must be able to commit to attend a 4-day training course at our office in Aylesbury
  • You must have a good level of speaking and comprehension in English
