Join Our Team as a Support Worker – Days at Precious Design Studio

We are hiring for the role of Support Worker – Days at Precious Design Studio. This is a full-time position working 34.5 hours per week, primarily during day shifts. An enhancement of £1.50 per hour applies from 8pm to 7am (excluding sleep-ins), and a weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour applies from 7am to 8pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

About the Role:

St Teresa\’s is a single-storey home supporting 27 adults with physical disabilities. We are looking for experienced care workers or individuals eager to start a career in care. We offer comprehensive training and induction programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily life tasks including personal care, medication administration, and mealtimes.
• Escort and support residents in and around the service, including external appointments and events.
• Support a Person-Centred approach, promoting independence and helping residents achieve their individual goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Candidate Requirements:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and creatively with residents and their families.
• Personal care experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work under pressure and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work within rostered hours and participate in on-call duties if required.
