Building Management Systems - the engineering sector is awash with talk of BMS at the minute. Everyone pretends to understand them, but only a select few know how they really work to peak performance.
You are one of those elite few… Whether it’s Trend, Tridium or ABB, what you don’t know about building controls could fit on a (small) UI and now you’re looking to use that knowledge to kick on with your career.
We are a hugely established BMS business who are based in the North East and most of our work is around here. We are looking to grow the commissioning team where we can offer further development (on the project side), tasty projects, and local work.
The Role: We design, manufacture, install, and commission our own BMS systems and we’re looking for a Commissioning Engineer who can commission the fine work of our teams, usually on ‘new’ projects. This could be anything from schools, hospitals, stadiums, universities… Anywhere that is new and needs their new BMS system. This is a role where you are managing your own diary to get the commissioning done, predominately across the North East.
It’s all about you: We’re open to the person on this - but someone who has some commissioning experience around BMS systems (we use Trend, ABB, Siemens & Tridium) and wants to continue their development on those systems - which we can assist with. This role would be great for someone who wants to move into projects and more senior roles in the future as we continue to grow.
The company: As alluded to, we are based in the North East and this is at the heart of our work and projects. We have a great tradition of developing our staff, offering them a career in a proper company where everyone knows each other. We want to bring people in to grow with us and be part of that journey in an environment where you are left to it.
