Hours of work: 4 on 4 off, Days. 7:00am - 19:00pm.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain a robust operational process to effectively control vehicle access to/from the post room.
- Implement Health & Safety procedures for Post room operations, adhering to current SOPs and legislation.
- Assist with site fire and emergency procedures, ensuring relevant preventative measures are undertaken.
- Liaise with RSM for departmental issues.
- Handle requests & enquiries to the Postroom Department efficiently and professionally, both in person and by telephone, following SOPs.
- Keep work areas clean and tidy, reporting defects immediately.
- Secure the Postroom at all times, challenging and dealing with any unauthorised access appropriately.
- Be part of the Resort team, maintaining policies, company rules, and quality standards of Ballymore Properties Ltd.
- Greet residents and couriers politely during mail drop-offs and collections.
- Liaise with RSM and RD regarding delivery requests to and from the site via the Postroom.
- Ensure smooth communication system operations within the Estate following SOP principles.
- Report security, health, safety issues, incidents, or complaints accurately.
- Receive, safekeep, and audit parcels and registered mail; secure valuable items in the safe for collection.
- Prepare postal slips for delivery into resident post-boxes, recording them for signature upon collection.
- Issue parcels and registered mail correctly as per SOPs.
- Handle residents’ dry cleaning/laundry, ensuring paperwork is completed.
- Carry out apartment and estate key audits when requested.
- Proactively address maintenance and cleaning issues within the estate.
- Maintain a safe environment and a tidy Parcel Room and storage areas.
- Act appropriately during emergencies.
- Forward relevant correspondence promptly to the RD’s office.
- Provide clear handovers at shift change, highlighting recent events and upcoming activities.
- Attend meetings as directed by the Resort Director or Residential Services Manager.
Other Responsibilities
- Understand and demonstrate the principles of the BAML Mission Statement.
- Foster a ‘can do, will do, with pleasure’ culture within the Residential Estates Team.
- Assist with other tasks or duties as assigned by the Resort Director or Residential Services Manager.
