Education/Experience:

  • Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in clinical documentation and basic internet navigation

Certificates and Licenses:

  • Valid NBCOT certification
  • Valid state license where applicable

Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services to patients, maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients, and adhering to professional and Reliant guidelines. Responsibilities include screening, evaluation, developing treatment plans, discharge planning, supervising assistants and techs, and case management. Maintain professional conduct and comply with all regulations.

Essential Duties:

  • Enhance patient functionality through occupational therapy
  • Provide supervision and consultation to COTAs
  • Supervise COTAs and Rehab Techs during treatments, promoting resource efficiency and clinical skill development
  • Develop and strengthen the occupational therapy program
  • Engage in ongoing education and professional development
  • Maintain valid state licensure and stay informed on relevant issues
  • Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and payment models; deliver quality, compliant care
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively in English
