My client, a specialist UK-based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk Consultant based in London.

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong academic background with a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrology, Geography, Environmental Modelling.
  • Experience in completing flood risk assessments.
  • Beneficial experience in drainage strategies, climate change, and nutrient neutrality.

Responsibilities

  • Complete Flood Risk Assessments.
  • Conduct Flood Risk Due Diligence for Real Estate.
  • Perform Flood Estimation using ReFH and Winfap.
  • Analyze Rainfall, Weather, and Wildfire data.
  • Prepare Hydrology and Environmental Chapters for EIAs.
  • Assess Nutrient Neutrality.
  • Develop Property Flood Resilience strategies.
  • Create Drainage Strategies and SAB Applications.
  • Prepare bid proposals and tenders.
  • Manage projects and coordinate with clients.
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss project development.
