About The Role
Join Our Dynamic Onsite Production Team at IPL Whittlesey! We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a End of Liner to become a vital part of our onsite Production Team at our House Plants & Flowers site in Whittlesey. If you are passionate about Production and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!
Position Details:
- Schedule: Sunday - Thursday - 7:45am - 4:30pm
- Location: IPL Whittlesey - Site Based Role
- Contract Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify all labels and ensure accuracy of product detail information
- Liaise with the Technical team to ensure product codes and specifications are legally compliant
- Coordinate with the Production Planner to follow correct product forecasts
- Complete all paperwork promptly
- Monitor the work area for safety and report machine issues to Engineers or Line/Operations Leaders
- Collaborate with Line/Operations Leaders to identify print errors
- Dispose of unused labels according to procedures
What We Are Looking For:
- Operational background in a similar role with knowledge of a pack house line
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in fresh produce or food industry
- Strong practical skills with mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work quickly and methodically
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Proficient in IT skills, ideally in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of PR2 (desirable)
